Had a fun time riding with your mtb trails 10/04/2020. Thank you. I was going to give 5stars...However, when I went to service at your bike shop, and asked to replaced both of my tires. The shop installed Maxxis Minion DHF Tire - 29 x 2.6, Tubeless, Folding, Black, 3C Maxx Grip, DD, Wide Trail and Maxxis Minion DHR II Tire - 29 x 2.4, Tubeless, Folding, Black, 3C Maxx Grip, DD, Wide Trail. Then my first ride back down I noticed both tires are wobling like crazy, returned to the bike shop and was told 'Not our fault its Maxxis and our tires are OLD & DEFFECTIVE been sitting in the shop for a long time'. I asked to replace them and of course they dont have the size they installed, instead got the 2.5 DHF and 2.4 Assagai. When I asked if I can get a credit because they gave me a deffective tires and this can cause a liability from the shop and I could gotten hurt for them knowing and putting a bad deffective tires, and said he said NO! credit and It's Maxxis'... and that he was having difficulty putting the tires because my wheels are not compatible with the tires (me: Really! dont give me those excuses because they never changed my sealant and use the blue sealant i had with my original tires which they never replaced, because he questioned me 'Whats up with the blue sealant we dont use blue sealant' and this shows they didnt replaced my sealant) VERY BAD and UNACCEPTABLE service I dont really care about the sealant its just for them knowing giving your customers defective products and this can lead to a liability...
Read moreAwesome bike park. Trails are built and maintained very well. Decent progression from beginner trails (Sugar Line) to intermediate (Gronk has 31 jumps on it!)... expert (Hawleywood) and the Fort Hill pro line (absolutely sick!). Plenty of tech (rocks/roots as well if that's your thing). Rentals are available, but we all had our own gear.
We camped on site (#9). Fyi, sites #1-8 are more level. 9-11 are on the ski slope and a little "off camber". Had to point the van uphill. I don't have any leveling mechanism yet. It's not bad though, slept fine. We didn't check out the higher # sites (#12-17). They are more secluded in the woods. Each site has a "cabana". Basically a shed you can sleep in if you want. We stored the bikes in it. There is a latch to lock from the outside (if you bring a padlock). There is a slide lock on the inside if you choose to sleep in it. Showers had good water pressure. The bathrooms were close. Overall a great experience.
We are from New Jersey. Compared to Mountain Creek, this place has better maintained trails and on-site camping. Will definitely...
Read moreThis place is a little slice of heaven on earth. Kid friendly for family fun, lady shredders are there just as much as the guys, big time rippers are challenged & they are definitely a dog friendly place. Our Aussie Digger loves making the trip every year. Another big thing for us is the camping sites. We use the oversize sites for our travel trailer and it levels well, it's super peaceful for sleeping and so close to the chairlifts. It's literally a bike in/bike out prime spot. We only recommend 2 things for the oversize camping. 1. Change the rule to generators being allowed. It's really important to have our cooling system regulated in the trailer when it's 34 degrees and it allows us to have full use of the trailer. Most campers are very cooperative with the generator situation. Provide fire rings for the oversized camp sites. Thanks for all of the updates and upgrades you've done since the 2023 season. We appreciate it and it's making our annual family MTB trip an awesome...
