This is sculpture 129 of 158 from the sculptor Thomas Dambo who has these around the USA, Caribbean, and Europe. His site details these well.

This sculpture is named Erik Rock. It is large and the pictures don't depict how awesome in both size and craftsmanship the sculpture is. It is all wood and sits in front of a pond.

Didn't think I would find this interesting but after seeing it and learning about Thomas Dambo and his work, consider me awed.

There is a parking lot for it, clearly labeled, that is about a .2 mile walk. There is also a trail that continues to his pair, #128 Greta Granit....

Have you started your troll hunt?! If you are in New England you should start with the two darling Ninigret Trolls in Rhode Island. Located in a beautiful park, with lots of other things to do with kids, these two Dambo built trolls are made with recycled materials and carry a message about conservation and saving the earth by using garbage in creative ways. Search down paths, look for clues like giant footprints on the sidewalks and clam shell necklaces strung in trees! Easy parking, easy flat paths, fun for...

Thomas Dambo is such a visionary artist! ❤️. His trolls are absolutely spectacular. These two Ninigret trolls do not disappoint. Its a short easy walk between the two trolls. Its flat and mostly paved or hard packed. Walk is no more than a half mile in length. Many visitors and as always the people moving through are so kind and excited to be engaged in their adventures. Love the seashells on Greta Granite. Make sure you walk behind her and look...

This is a lovely community park. Easy walk with an overabundance of parking. To find the trolls is simple but complicated. It's a short walk through the paved walkway where you follow giant painted footprints..but those trail ends and you get to the tiniest sign reading "troll" Don't go too far because the trolls are hidden in plain sight. Go and have fun.
