Great hike for moderate hikers. It’s not super hard but you will need shoes and strong legs!! A lot of stair stepper rocks on the way up to the tower. The overlook path is all natural rock and tree roots type of path. Very rocky at some spots. The overlook is BELOW the tower so if you go to the over look first, you will have to climb up to the tower. If you go tower first, then it’s all downhill from there back to the parking lot. Up to you!! Our Kids did it no problem. But we’re thirsty when we got to the car.

Did a short hike to the overlook and down and around to the old fire tower. There's a few historical plaques posted around the trails and there are bathrooms and parking at the trailhead.

This was nice walk up some stone stairs, thru the forest, to the Fire Tower and the Rock Wall. You can also continue past the Fire Tower and get on the trail to the incredible scenic overlook which is a must see. The path is definitely not ADA accessible but otherwise it is not a very strenuous walk however, it's definitely better in sneakers or hiking shoes. There are restrooms available in the...
