One of the most beautiful lake I've ever seen!!! - Visted Lassen Volcanic National Park in May and middle of June. (So first time with all snow and iced lake and second time visit, beautiful crytal blue lake!!) This place is amazing! Still was a lot of snow here and there. Some of the trails or paths were closed, but still so many things to see and explore!

(So first time with all snow and iced lake and second time visit, beautiful crytal blue lake!!) This place is amazing! Still was a lot of snow here and there. We were there on July 6th when it was 90°F during the heat wave. The weather was warm but there was still snow around. Cruising with windows down was comfortable as the air got cooler due to snow. The Bumpass hell was closed so check before you leave. Visitor center has cafeteria and model volcanoes that inform you about the region. They also play a 20 min movie educating history of the volcano. The hot mud pots are not to sit in them as they...

Amazing place!! We had lunch here after hiking to bumpass hell. The chipmunks are adorable. the view is amazing. It;s over 8,000 feet so take it slow if old or out of shape. It can be insanely windy here on otherwise beautiful days. We had ot cope with 40-50mph gusts early on but the winds mellowed out...
