My girlfriend and I went here for some fall activities. We both decided to get a flight each of cider. We are used to taste testing wines and ciders but my god was this the most horrible ciders we ever tasted. Most of them smelled of dirty socks and tasted just as bad. All of them that we had were so overpowered by what we described as a rubbing alcohol taste with overwhelming flavor syrup. The lavender (dead flowers) tasted like it’s lavender oil soaked in rubbing alcohol and topped off with more lavender. The Mucho Respecto is just an abysmal product due to the overwhelming taste of jalapeño and non existent strawberry as they claim in the website. Any logical cider drinker knows that cider should have flavor hints of the ingredients; not this place. They hit you with all the flavoring and no subtleties. The muled cider was a creation that should never be created. It smells rancid and tastes even worse. Definitely will not be coming...
Read moreIt was our first time here, but we left with a great experience. It was slow when we got there so I cannot speak of when it is busy, but were greeted quickly with a pleasant hello from one of the women behind the bar. We said it was our first time there and were given a rundown on the different wines and ciders available. A flight was suggested, which is what we each got. I like how the flight box is set up, along with how it is organized by number so you know what each drink is. (Picture provided for your pleasure) After that we tried the sangrias and liked both enough to buy a bottle of the red and white. Inside they offer a bar to sit at, as well as tables and hi tops. Outside the have hi tops with chairs and picnic tables to sit at. The fire pit was nice to stand by and sip your drink. Overall we really enjoyed our time here. The staff was friendly and told us of events coming up. Looking forward...
Read moreThis place is absolutely amazing! 5 ⭐️ Not only are they a small winery nestled in morris county, but they also make, serve and sell hard cider and homemade sangria. They have a very rustic feel in their tasting room and plenty of outdoor seating. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile and hello. The girls who took care of us (Chris, Abby and Andrea) were very friendly and knowledgeable. Almost wanted Chris to pull up a chair and join us. Outside snacks are welcomed but you cannot leave without trying the “grazing board”Cheese, Crackers, cookies, chocolate, chocolate covered pretzels and their homemade strawberry jam. (Yep, bought some of that too) This place has it all and then some. Cannot think of a better place than to have celebrated Our wedding anniversary. Thank you Rebel Sheep Winery. ...
