Wason Pond Park — Attraction in Chester

It was alright, a bit small. Watched a cicada wasp take down a cicada. Has pretty neat trails. The water was murky. It was free. Park Ranger was around which was nice. Put up tented area with seating near the beach area. Park was cool. 2 porta potties, one near Park and one near beach. If you can't get into beaver lake, the wason pond is a lesser alternative. Fishing areas, but like I said there is a park ranger around so probably don't do it without your fishing license. No animals allowed but people were letting there dogs swim anyways, im indifferent about it personally. The water dyes your hairs a little orangey brown, idk what thats supposed to mean....
