G & P Pizzeria — Restaurant in Chester

We went here to eat with my parents who came up from Florida. We had their pizza a few nights before and my mother wanted to try their other menu items. They have quite a selection of foods to choose from. I am hard to please when I eat out as I have worked in food service a long time and I also cook my own food just because I enjoy the art of it. We went out with 5 kids who all have very picky eating habits and usually when we go out to eat we have some sort of issue. All this being said, their service was pretty great and the food was even better. My son kept saying I should rate it 10 stars and my oldest who hates most places bacon ate all of her food. The only complaint we had in the whole experience was my dad didn't quite enjoy the amount of pasta to eggplant parm ratio.. it had quite a lot of pasta and not enough sauce and eggplant. My mom's steaks tips were absolutely phenomenal. Which is something, because steak tips are really hit or miss, but these were on point! OK, whoever is leaving 5 star reviews for this place is out of their mind. I've lived in Chester for over 15 years and have dined in and ordered takeout from this place (on an off) for a long time. Every time I go there I tell myself never again. The owner should be ashamed for the Price Gouging and Shrink-Flation he is perpetrating at this Restaurant. I've personally watched his prices skyrocket since the Scam-demic, and his portions have shrunk drastically. He is practicing some bad voodoo here. Not worth the prices at all. They quit making/selling Stuffed Grape Leaves, and I'm willing to bet he uses low grade hormone and antibiotic loaded Chicken to cut his overhead. What a sham. Please wake up and Go elsewhere. G&P Pizza is just hi-way robbery. The tasteless pizzas are overcooked on an automated machine and have shrunk in size as well. My first time ordering from this place. I saw all the great reviews and it’s close to home so wanted to Give it a try. I didn’t get blue cheese dressing with the Buffalo tenders and only One salad dressing for my salad when I ordered and paid for extra. When I called to let them know, the girl was argumentative saying I didn’t pay extra for the blue cheese. I said I know that I just wanted to say I didn’t get it but I paid extra for the salad dressing and didn’t get it. Then goes on to say I have to specify in my order if I want blue cheese or ranch for the tenders. The description says “comes with blue cheese dressing “. Then she said she will get someone else on the phone. They said the same thing so I explained again. In the end they apologized and were nice enough and refunded me, but why argue with a customer who didn’t get their order right. Just apologize and say you will fix it??!!!
