I absolutely love this beach. Small but definitely does not get too crowded. The water is nice and clear. The sand is white and soft. No lifeguards. You can take your floaties in the water if you love floaties! Parking - parking is limited right by the beach. I’d sad maybe about 15 to 20 spots FREE. If you can’t find parking you’ll probably have to park several blocks away and walk down the road. There are stairs that you need to go down to get to the beach so it isn’t for anyone who can’t do stairs. Way better than nearby alternatives like New Buffalo and Silver Beach in St. Joseph. Parking can be a pain if you come on the weekends or holidays, but it's well worth the effort of waiting for a spot, or better yet, come early or on weekdays and you won't have a problem.
