[DOG ATTACK] I’ve been here a couple times I took my puppy (4months old)Aussiedoodle here today and my dog was viciously attacked from two golden retrievers (medium gold with light tones) I was walking around the loop as my dog was walking by my side, the two golden retrievers ran towards my puppy barking which I thought was fine. The owners were 50 feet away in front of me. The dogs ran to my puppy, started biting around her neck whipping her around as I tried to grab the golden retrievers I received no help from the man, but he did come eventually about a min or so later watching me struggle grabbing his dogs away from mine then he ran to the exit with his dogs waiting for his wife that was just going to walk by me and not say nothing. I asked are those your dogs she said yes they are. I said well your dogs viciously attacked my dog then she says it a territory thing in my dogs, could sense that your dog want it all this territory. I said excuse me if you’re a dog acts like that they need to be on a leash. Your dogs could’ve hurt my dog very bad as she was hurt bad screaming the whole time even after the fight for a min or so traumatized The couple never said sorry (THATS CRAZY TO ME) pretty much blamed it on my dog so all I ask is for people to watch out for other dogs Some people only care about their animals well being so please KEEP AN EYE OUT the woman was short like 5’4 and the man was 6’3. my dog is alright just a bit wary of other dogs now she hides between my legs now....
Read moreI have been in other dog parks along my travels which are nice to come across. Most have dog wash stations with no fees. I paid my fee of $3. Since I didn't have change for the actual fee I paid $5. Wasn't impressed by the up keep of such a huge dog park. I would have figured with all the donations of items and between the fees being charged that it would look much better! For the proposed new tri section bill board they want to put in at the cost of $3500 is insanely high! There isn't much room to run for a small dog. The medium dog area is average. For the big dogs there isn't much room either. All the big dogs have is the walking perimeter while the center is nothing more then an overflow area that isn't cut down to allow for more room for them to run. Not well maintained for what could be a...
Read moreKind of a boring typical dog park. It's alongside multiple highways where traffic is kind of loud. Good loop for walking with a four legged best friend.
Lots of long grass marsh in the middle but nothing for dogs to swim in, seems to be ignored. Not much dog interaction. Most visitors just want to walk around the loop. Dogs are well behaved, but not the type of park where you see them play or get to know each dogs name.
Place is kept up very well for what it is. Other sections for dogs smaller with some basic training obstacles. Plenty of water around and benches to sit. Parking...
