Chula Vista Marina View Park — Attraction in Chula Vista

It’s really beautiful but people come to party and leave trash everywhere, lots of homeless who don’t take care of “their” areas, I’ve seen people use drugs in their vehicles, homeless start fights with people walking their dogs… my husband won’t let me walk there alone anymore because of how raggedy it’s gotten. Bathrooms aren’t safe, don’t go in there, they’re used for drug abuse and men go into women’s stalls.

Calls to the police don’t really do anything. There was recently a clean up effort and removal of homeless but they’re coming back and leaving their messes again. I’m sure none of us would even care that the homeless are there, if only they’d cleaned up after themselves and not leave drug paraphernalia and dirty underwear...

Love this place. It’s a fun place to take the kids to enjoy the outdoors. The play ground is fun. And in the water there are ducks and other ocean birds to admire. There is a path that connects to the marina that is great to walk and bike ride. There is a grassy area to kick the soccer ball around and benches with covering to sit and eat with family and friends.
