I adore the Nature Center at the Summit! The actual nature center itself is full of fascinating critters, exciting activities, and knowledgeable naturalists. Situated on the grounds you'll find a beautiful children's garden, the (new) Roselawn Community garden, fruit trees, solar panels, a functioning chicken coop, and plenty of space for basketball/field games! Walking down into the forest gives you a glimpse of the Mill Creek, a prairie in progress, a great fire pit, and even an archery range!

A hidden gem and very relaxing.

Attended an Urban Farmer meeting at the attached church, as I was leaving I noticed The Summit Park area.

It also has a covered gathering area w/ picnic table, a baseball field, a garden and you can walk your leashed pet.
