Lunken play field is incredible! I been coming here since 1979 maybe a few years prior ๐... It's just a lot of fun! Fun for kids, teens adults, older people!!! There is a little something fun for EVERY age group down at Lunken Playfield ๐๐... People of all ages walk, jog, run, bike, skate, rollerblade, skateboard, and more on our famous bike trail that eventually connects with the Ohio bike trails it heads towards Loveland & Milford bike trails and eventually connects to them! Of course there are shorter trails to hike or bike as well. It goes over the little Miami and heads towards Otto Armleder Memorial Park too! There is fabulous golf at the Lunken Playfield & Tennis. There used to be an arcade room many years ago when I was a kid, unfortunately it is NOT there anymore, Maybe one day the Linwood community will consider bringing something similar back... Wishful thinking anyway ๐ I have the best memories of The Lunken Playfield! There is a playground for the kids of course and picnic tables! There are also a few baseball diamonds... It's fun to sit and watch the airplanes take off & land at Lunken airport. You can see all this from the Playfield. At night it's fun to sit on a blanket and watch the planes or just look at the INCREDIBLE night sky! There was a huge orange super Moon the other night that was incredible! Just breathtaking. Check this place out! It's simple and so worth it!!! Family atmosphere or go with your significant other you will have loads of fun whoever...

I've heard that it costs $1 per kid 2-12 to enter the playground, but so far there hasn't been anyone there from the parks department to collect and the gate has always been open. Inside the large fenced in area there is a large grassy area to run around as well as 3-4 playgrounds with everything you'd expect, slides, monkey bars, rings, tunnels, etc. The largest of the playgrounds has that nice rubber ground cover that is a lot easier on my 1 year-old's knees when she falls down than the wood chips on the ground at a lot of other playgrounds. In the center of the area is a picnic shelter with 4-5 tables. We usually pack a lunch so that we can stay until the kid's nap time. There are probably bathrooms in the building on the west end of the park, but been locked every time...

Used paper towels all over sinks and floor. Generally looked filthy on floors and walls. We didn't even stick around to tell the attend because she was on the phone and didn't even...
