I haven’t been to this dog park for over 10 years as it is a bit of a drive. I have a special needs daughter who loves going to the dog park to love on the animals and talk to their owners and our 10.5 month old goldendoodle needed some exercise. I also brought my hyperactive son as he enjoys running with the dogs too. My husband was unable to join us for this trip so it was just me watching 2 kids and dog at the dog park. 30 min in the man in the attached photo started verbally attacking me (yelling) about my children being there. He was apparently irked by something that either I, my children, or my pup did, because he went on to patronize me about how I should take them to the playground where they belong. While I would have loved to do this I didn’t come here for the sole purpose to entertain my children but to get my dog some exercise. Dogs aren’t allowed on the playground but children are allowed in the dog park. He was screaming at me in front of my children and the other people there with their dogs, who were all having a good time, until this “Karen/Kevin” decided to attack momma bear in public instead of pulling me aside politely to work out whatever his grievances were. So I told him off and told him to leave if he had an issue or if he wanted to, could watch my kids since he didn’t think I was doing a good enough job. He replied yelling “I don’t give a F**k!” And eventually left. We all ended up leaving after this as no one was in a good mood anymore. Needless to say IF we ever return to this park I’ll be sure to bring my husband so if he wants to start something my husband will be sure to finish it! Don’t mess with momma bear! 3 stars is for the park and the people and doggy company we did enjoy!

Great dog park. Well kept and clean area, multiple paddocks, one is specifically for small breed dogs 22lbs or less. Many well established trees that will bring good shade in the coming months. Water is available from a small fountain for dogs, it is working as of today. There are portable toilets available for humans to use nearby. Benches inside play area, as well as bags for cleaning up after your dog. There is a trail nearby but we didn’t have time to check it out today but it looks like it’s paved.

We walk our dogs here on workout days. My pups (12yrs old) plus size girls. So we walk them to get more exercise. When the people are not all in one area it's ok. But my dogs dont social distance well. So we check to see how many other dog and decide if we go in or they walk the path with us. Then after our walks we stop and get everyone Starbucks...I know ..I know but it's on keto for day. And they have pup cups for my baby girls. They love there treats.

My puppy loves this park and we had some great times here, but after he got attacked 4 different times yesterday by 3 different dogs, we won’t be back. Since it’s free anyone can come and yesterday wasn’t the first day he’s been attacked at this park. Some folks are friendly, but most are clique-ish and almost hostile. I had my eyes on my puppy the entire time and didn’t understand why other people were yelling at him when their dogs were the ones on top of him. A guy even grabbed him by the collar and threw him to the side even though he was the one being attacked. Of course, he got snarly and snappy when dogs kept grabbing his ears and jaw as he tried to run away! One of the times my puppy was just taking a drink and another dog just went after him. If your dog has aggressive tendencies and can’t even handle being sniffed, then they shouldn’t be anywhere near a dog park. My pup is a 6 month old golden retriever. He’s as friendly as they come and curious so he loves to sniff. Just like every other dog out there! I’m guessing other people just don’t want to admit their dog might be aggressive. It’s a nice facility, so I’m disappointed that I even feel the need to leave this review. I really liked the closeness to home of this dog park, but we’ll be looking for another way for him to socialize. Honestly, puppy parents beware! We wound up having to make a trip to the vet because of the wounds my puppy got at this park. I’d skip this one...

I've been a regular visitor to this dog park for a while now, and my overall experience has been a bit of a mixed bag.

Let's start with the positives. The park is undoubtedly expansive and large, providing ample space for our furry friends to roam and play freely. I appreciate the thoughtful segregation of areas for large and small dogs, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable environment for everyone. It's great to see the consideration for different-sized pups.

Another positive aspect is the diversity of people that frequent the park. It's heartwarming to witness dogs from all walks of life coming together, and it reflects the rich tapestry of our community. This diversity brings a unique energy to the park, creating an environment where both canines and their owners can socialize and make connections.

However, the diversity in human personalities can be a double-edged sword. On a couple of occasions, I've had less-than-pleasant encounters with fellow park-goers. Unfortunately, not everyone adheres to the unspoken rules of dog park etiquette, and I've encountered a couple of individuals whose behavior made me think twice about making this a...
