We purchased what we thought was going to be a great sectional couch. about a month or two after the delivery the couch started to fray. I thought maybe it was just because it was new and it got worse and worse. I reached out to the store and was told that I needed to contact the extended warranty guardsmen after sending multiple pictures to guardsmen they are response about a month later was it was poor quality by the manufacturer, well that was in progress, the store had agreed to order cushion replacements. OK that's great but what are you gonna do about the back of the couch? after months of not hearing anything I get a phone call that the cushion covers are now in and they wanted to pick the couch up and take it to the store to repair the cushions. The phone call came from a new person who stated she wasn't aware of any of this whole situation. Upon explaining it to her, she seemed to understand. I sent her pictures of what the couch was doing and I received a phone call a day or two later stating that they they would be reupholstering the whole couch in a few weeks. Two days after that call came in the lady that I had spoke to and sent an email to called me to inform me that I had a couple options to choose from one as they would just do the cushions and that would be at no cost to me and the other was to reupholster the whole thing and that would be a charge of $399.-$141 for the extended warranty. So after all this and the couch being poor quality, they wanted me to pay $259 to get the couch repaired. I think it’s very unfair to ask us to pay to have a couch repaired that was such poor quality. Especially after receiving a call that it would be repaired! I said I can go buy another couch and not have to worry about poor quality. I will never shop at HomePlus and would not recommend it to anybody as they are not concerned about the quality of products that they sell.

My wife and I came in with our 3 kids, and Joel greeted us with a smile even though it was an hour before close. He was so patient with us and the kids. He understood what we were looking for and recommended options and showed us the display models. I bought a couch at olums, and I felt pushed into buying what they wanted me to buy. When we talked to Joel, we felt like he had our best interests at heart and wanted us to pick what was best suited for our needs. I am so happy we decided to go to Homeplus. I highly recommend anyone looking for new furniture to go here. Joel, we will be back. Thank you for the great service. We are extremely happy with our recliner and couch. My wife was home when the couch and recliner were delivered. Paul and Leo were super polite and let our boys help. My wife said the process of them coming to deliver and take the old furniture was so easy. They placed the furniture where my wife wanted it and made sure she was happy with the layout before they left. Thank you to everyone for making the buying process such a breeze and enjoyable to us.

In November, I had a great experience with HomePLUS. I was welcomed to the showroom and Matt was very helpful. I didn’t feel pressured, and I felt comfortable taking time to make my selection. Matt and his colleague even moved a coffee table from one end of the store to the other so I could see how well it matched my sectional! The Delivery team was prompt and courteous. They took great care to ensure my furniture was kept in pristine condition. I recommended HomePLUS to a friend, and she also made a purchase! Matt was my salesman for a January purchase and was as helpful the second time around as he was the first time. Leo and Paul were my delivery team again for round 2 as well. They went to exceptional lengths to deliver my sleeper loveseat even though I failed to properly measure the door. They went above and beyond to deliver the item without damage. I’m very happy with my HomePlus experiences.

8/14/25 I FILED COMPLAINT w BBB & THEY RESPONDED w LIES * DO NOT SHOP HERE! READ THEIR RESPONSE ON THIS- MY GOOGLE REVIEW THEY SAID WAS TAKEN DOWN! THEY DO NOT HONOR PAID PROTECTION PLAN OR GUARANTEE/WARRANTY

12/19/2024 Having PTSD, imagine my emotional state when the General Manager at HomePlus called the Binghamton, NY police on me for trespass because I went in to say the replacement sectional piece I was issued does not match the original pieces fabric-wise and to see what my options are moving forward. Though I specifically requested not to deal with him again, GM Chris Scatturo, decided to come out mid-conversation in an aggressive way and tell me I could leave. I politely declined but please do see the photos and request the video of our police interaction if you’d like because I will gladly share! I was so upset I was scared silent. For the record, during that incident both of the customer service representatives were EXCELLENT. I was greeted with smiles and told I would likely be able to choose a comparable replacement but then the GM got involved and the fun ensued. Though I forget her name, I am grateful to the rep shown in the video because she was honest to the police even if her hands were tied to help me otherwise!

I edited my original review which was five stars to reflect my experience after my purchase because I had an excellent experience with my salesman, Matt, but once I filed a service report that turned into how ON A RECORDED LINE, General Manager, Chris Scaturro, not only falsely represented himself as the sole owner of the company when I asked him to speak to the owner or manager while trying to avoid an escalation of emotions he then said I clearly have animals due to the excessive dog hair that shows in the submitted photos (Ummmm…!?) and that having pets sleep with me plus the way I lay on the pillow-back couch cushion voids a warranty on the $4,185.10 sectional I purchased. Chris also let it be known he was doing me a favor (!!!) by replacing the damaged section even though I have been patiently waiting TWO MONTHS FOR THE PIECE TO ARRIVE and Conklin’s HomePlus manager, Ben, told me the work order was not processed due to a clerical error the day before and that I have a valid claim due to frame damage as shown in the photos below. I also want to note that from the moment I purchased this couch I made it clear that I sleep on it because my husband unexpectedly passed away in our bed and that I chose the company mostly due to their program honoring veterans because my late husband was a disabled combat veteran. Upon calling back, I also told Chris he should be ashamed of himself because though I wasn’t positive he wasn’t the owner it took google about one minute to help me suss that lie out and I am quite certain that, Mr. Jay Fanara, who is actually the President of the company might not appreciate his dishonesty because I surely didn’t.

OWNERS take responsibility. Mere employees who later admit to owning a small portion of stock in a company but not actually being the owner just drag a businesses reputation down and cost them sales. I left HomePlus on Veteran’s Day so satisfied with my interaction and how my problem was to be resolved I fully intended to wait for my replacement plus buy ANOTHER COUCH but now know the BPD in a new way!

I would like to add I was sold this sectional as being comprised of what could be stand alone pieces and just discovered that is not accurate as demonstrated in the photos. Not only does the hardware not have covers but the cushions have no way of staying secure without the added support.

Do yourself a favor- shop on Amazon, at Goodwill or marketplace. Buy Pioneer Woman furniture (it rocks!!) or beautiful by Drew Barrymore at Wal-Mart. It’s the...

I called Aug 30 to file a claim for my furniture. By Sept 9th I called again because I didn't hear anything in regards to my claim. Sept 10 I get a call back stating there is a new person who took over the claim position. Sept 25 I call again because I haven't heard anything. Sept 26 I get a call back saying the part is in and just have to schedule a date for the repair. By Oct 23 I still didn't receive a repair date so I said I wasn't getting off the phone until I got a repair date. They finally told me Monday Oct 28 and that would need to remove my whole couch and hold it for repairs for a few days. Why I didn't understand because the arm rest was the issue which has screws that come off. Anyways after being told they were coming Monday I asked what time so someone could be home. Got told I would be called back with a time. Never got a call back with a time. Then Oct 26 I get a call from Sherry saying they can come Wednesday the 30th. I called back Monday the 28th stating that I was told someone was coming this Monday and I'm not satisfied with Wednesday and the service was horrible. Finally Monday they said someone will be at my house around noon. By 1:30pm Noone showed so my dad left as Noone ever showed. At 1:45pm I get a call saying that they are at my house and they didn't need to take my whole couch. So the gentleman left the piece and screw for my couch on my porch. And I know have to install the new piece. Even though I paid for the service for repairs. Worst customer service I have ever received. Once you get the furniture from homeplus they seem to no longer care about you and push you to the side. I should not have to keep calling to figure out what that staus is of my claim.- After leaving this review the owner had responded. First off no one communicated to me a 3 hour window. Sherry said someone would be at my house at 12. And if I pay for a service such as repairs and I then have to do the repair myself. Then yes, that's at my expense. I paid for a service that I did not receive. And again I was told my whole couch would have to be removed from my home to be repaired because the equipment needed to be used to fix it was not deemed safe to be in my home. And the gentleman called stating that it was a few screws I would have to put in and if he could just leave it on the porch which I did agree too after having to wait this long just to get an armrest. I didn't want to risk waiting another fews days or weeks. Clearly there is a lot of miscommunication and lack of communication going on in your establishment.-After the review they did send someone out to replace my arm rest and did give me a gift card for the...

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin Mack as our salesman when we purchased a bed and nightstands for our home, and I must say, he was absolutely amazing! From the moment we stepped into the furniture store, Kevin went above and beyond to ensure our shopping experience was smooth and enjoyable.

First and foremost, Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about the different furniture options available and took the time to understand our specific needs and preferences. He asked insightful questions and provided valuable recommendations that helped us find the perfect bed and nightstands to complement our bedroom décor.

Kevin's professionalism and friendly demeanor stood out throughout the entire process. He was patient with all our questions and concerns, addressing each one with clarity and enthusiasm. It was evident that he genuinely cared about finding the right furniture pieces for us and wasn't just focused on making a quick sale.

Another aspect that impressed us was Kevin's attention to detail. He carefully explained the features and quality of the furniture we were interested in, making sure we were fully informed before making a decision. He also helped us understand the various warranty and delivery options, ensuring that we felt confident in our choices.

Moreover, Kevin's customer service skills were top-notch. He promptly responded to our emails and phone calls, and he even followed up after the purchase to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. It's clear that he takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about his customers' happiness.

In conclusion, I cannot speak highly enough of Kevin Mack as a furniture salesman. He made our shopping experience enjoyable, stress-free, and most importantly, successful. If you're in need of furniture and want an amazing salesperson, Kevin is the one to go to. He is knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and truly goes the extra mile for his customers.
