This is very interesting place but not for kids. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We were told the tour would be 1.5 hours long, but after 2 hours we didn’t even get to see the top floor of the mansion and by that time we’ve had enough. A man on our tour thought it was a private tour and asked a lot of questions, and it lengthened the tour significantly. I would recommend not going there with kids, and give yourself 2.5 hours for the tour. I would recommend to the tour guides to either have more frequent tours or shorten the length...

Vicki was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge and passion. We spent a little over an hour in the house. Next part of the tour was in the Carriage House. Gordon was full of knowledge and detail about all of the various carriage configurations. A very thorough walk through the history of carriages. This part of the tour also took a little over an hour. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of the museum and homestead. My guides, Sandy and Vicki were phenomenal in their knowledge of the museum’s history as well as talented tour guides with great cadence.
