Rondout Lighthouse — Attraction in City of Kingston

Got tickets online the day of, put in the gps the name of the lighthouse followed them and it brought us to a dead end and a tried again and then a beach! Had to ask locals where to go! Finally find the museum and the nice lady said go out back, there was no sign or anything! We only found the boat because the lady who works on the boat found us and said to follow her! They were very nice and it’s a good trip they isn’t even check out tickets it was $50 for an hour for two which is a lot but fun I enjoyed it a lot very nice trip. They email directions to you but my boyfriend got the tickets and didn’t tell me that lol he tried to make it a cute little trip thank god the wait...

Definitely worth the trip. The guides are very informative and entertaining. The views from the top of the lighthouse are impressive, and the guides know how to divide the whole group into two and direct you to rooms along the way so that you're not just waiting to get to the top. Though I don't consider the museum worth $10, admission to the museum is included with the $30 ticket purchase, so you could also look around there for 30-45 minutes before or after your ride -- depending on...

Unable to review the interior, but this is definitely valuable infrastructure. In addition to the scintillating beacon, the lighthouse appears to be equipped with a meteorological apparatus. The causeway leading to the Rondout looks like it is flooded over most of the time, which would leave the lighthouse keeper isolated entirely from all humanity. I just hope that he has...
