Iāve had a really amazing nail tech for quite sometime (in the BX) but with my new job role our schedules keep conflicting and clashing. Unfortunately, locally Iāve personally never found a nail tech who has ācity girlā skills. (Iām from White Plains, NY) I ended up finding a new nail tech also located in the BX (a bit deeper than Iām used to) who was/is just as dope on IG. Unfortunately the traffic and the parking is HORRENDOUS! The last few times Iāve had to double park, almost got into an accidentājust the PITS! Needless to say the hunt continued, the other night I went on Google and typed in nail salons near me who specializes in stiletto nails, found them on IG and was like okay bet let me give them a try. I ended up calling warm and cozy asking them if they take walk-ins. They said yes and the last appointment is at 7p. Music to my ears! I ended up going there straight from work, and babyyyyy let me tell youā¦had I known they were right under my nose alllllllllllll this time I wouldāve been solicited them! Wait time was a little long, but whatever I was a walk-in. š (I patiently waited my turn and Iām glad I did). I ended up sitting in the seat of a young lady named Santana. (Ask for her and tell her I sent you) š She filed my nails to perfection, clean polish and coat (sooooooo not sloppy), and intricately placed my diamonds on my nails. Her precision was A1. The owner, Michelle did my acrylic which was not too thick, nicely done as well. When I was leaving, one of the young ladies (the daughter) asked me if I was returning, baby that aināt even up for discussion! 10/10. I even chuckled a few times from my seat, from their very entertaining dialogues. I am officially a happy and NEW customer! Support black business and a super cute mommy and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ended up at this shop on a whim. I need to get my nails done and most of the shops in Pelham only do powered dip and I wanted some acrylics. I called up nice lady picked up and said I could come in and I was there in 15 mins. Really nice people completely black owned which I loved ! I think the shop is a mother daughter duo which was also super cute! Process itās a little different though but the end result was way better than I expected! 1st a young lady prepped and shaped my nails 2nd the acrylics was applied buy another person and 3rd more shaping styling and polishing by another person. Seems like a long process however totally worth it!!! Definitely will visit again !...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy Nails are nice. I felt like they serviced they regular customers before me.. so I was sitting there looking crazy for almost a hour. Then instead of focusing on my nails workers get too caught up in they own conversation, my nails was different lengths, the products burned like 3 of my fingers, and my nail beds was pushed back literally 10 times. I left that salon with all 10 fingers on FIRE. I get my nails done elsewhere and never had a problem with things burning me or my fingers hurting after Iām done. Nails was nice and cheap though, but I wonāt be back honestly. First time giving a black owned business a try too and not...
