The trail is easy and well-maintained, stretching about a mile in length. During my walk, I spotted a variety of birds including catbirds, cardinals, blue jays, red-winged blackbirds, ravens, red-bellied woodpeckers, ospreys, cranes, cormorants, and even a wild turkey with several chicks.
