Mangone’s Garden Center — Local services in Town of Rye

We chose to shop at this nursery because of its proximity to Rye. They also have some few helpful people outside. However the owner is very arrogant and unprofessional to the level that he actually berates you for your questions. They are also very disorganized. We placed an order for a tree which they were supposed the deliver in the next few days. We called after few days and were told in a grumpy tone that it could not be delivered yet but perhaps the next day. Then we did not hear from them. . After a week or waiting, this was the last drop. I cancelled my order and placed an online order with fastgrowingtrees. So much for trying to help...

This garden center is packed with a huge variety of annuals, perennials & flowering shrubs. They have one of the best selection of herbs and vegetables with varieties of heirloom tomatoes hard to find herbs. If you could think of it they have it and if they don't have it they can probably get it for you. Shopping is easy they bring everything to your car. If you're not familiar with this place you should be. This year 2023 marks the 75th Year...

This place is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. It's family run and small so it's easy to get help or have your questions addressed. It's much better than going to Home Depot.
