Schieferstein Farm — Attraction in Clark

The customer service of this place is a complete disaster. I went there this afternoon to buy a Christmas tree and spent $100 on one and yes, they would also deliver it to me but it’s a $30 charge, as they indicated they are trying to discourage deliveries. I paid the $30 because I am unable to get the tree into my house myself. Unfortunately, when they delivered my tree they knocked on the door, dropped the tree at the stairs and took off. When I called them to tell them that I never would’ve had a tree delivered if I would’ve known they weren’t going to bring it into my house and the man who answered could care less. So I spent $30 for the guy to drive it 3 miles and drop it at my stoop. He did not care at all that he had created an enormous problem for me and I suggested that they disclose the fact that they will not bring the tree into a house when they Charge you the $30. I will never buy a tree from them again or anything else for that matter. I was left with the same problem as I would have had if I had driven the tree home myself and it was sitting on top of my car. But heck, they don’t care...

Went there for a Christmas tree with my 10 year old daughter.After 30 mins of looking she found the tree that she had her heart set on. After getting one of the workers to come over, I asked him for a price and he told me the tree was $100. I told him that I would take it. We proceeded to the exit to pay for the tree where we were told by another gentleman that the tree is now $130. When I explained to him that this gentleman just told me the tree was $100, he said no I am the boss it’s $130. He was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my daughter with a tone that he used. I will never shop there again! The only reason why I’m giving him one star is because there’s nothing less than one star...

I called to inquire about purchasing hay for a fundraiser benefiting the Florina Cancer Center. I was quoted $18 per bale, which is unusually high as hay typically ranges from $7–$10 per bale. I asked if there was any bulk pricing available and mentioned that this was for a charity event where all proceeds go to cancer research and the venue would not profit from the fundraiser.

The response I received was shocking, the representative said, “Not at all, I don’t care for cancer fundraisers.” This was extremely unprofessional and disheartening.
