Gorgeous hike even when it’s snow packed. We had our three kiddos and dog with us and only saw one other party- not including the baby chipmunk. Just be careful that even in late April, you can hit a rut in the snow and sink as there’s still quite a bit of snow. I’m talking mid thigh deep. We only hiked out maybe ¾ of a mile and then turned around because it was difficult to traverse with the deep snow. You can make it to the beautiful brook no problem- but if you have snow shoes, they aren’t a bad idea to consider packing if you want to go further and there’s still snow. Enjoy the...

4/30/21. A lot of the reviews refer to this as being more of a walk than a hike. I'm sure that will be true again in a couple more weeks. If you're going now, be prepared for a snow covered trail at the beginning and some areas where the trail itself is ice covered and you need to skirt along the side or cut through the brush. (See pics.) Just a heads up.

Had the place almost to myself yesterday, which was great. The view at the end is great. Not much elevation, so other than the remaining ice/snow, it should work for any...

This is an easy hike. You can walk or bike. Take a bottle of water and a granola bar and you are set. We just hiked up in about an hour without stopping but also taking our time to enjoy the beauty around us. Remember to leave no trace. Be sure to have a camera to capture the amazing beauty...
