Cleveland Metroparks Brookside Reservation — Attraction in Cleveland

The area has a nice short hiking path. Some areas are paved, and some are forested. Great place to get out and walk by the creek, or through the many Japanese cherry blossoms. Such a beautiful and nature filled reservation! I was pleasantly surprised by how active the wildlife were in the park, especially considering how urban the location is and proximity to highway. The trails were well maintained with wetland ponds along the way. We saw a plethora of frogs, turtles, snakes, birds, squirrel, deer, dragonflies, and more! Definitely worth a visit...

It’s a really beautiful line of cherry trees! It’s really sad that so many people allow their kids to rear off branches and climb the trees. I saw maybe 5-6 different families allowing this and one mother actually bending a large branch down to help her child hang from it. It’s absolutely awful. If you can’t respect those trees, don’t go to that park. I’m so infuriated...
