the guy who made our arrangements first of all didn't take the time to ask us and second of all just assumed we didn't know about flowers.. third of all he assumed we already had a vase and fourth of all so he took the liberty of cutting our flowers at different lengths because he assumed we didn't know how to make a flower arrangement ourselves.. by the way the arrangement he made I was not impressed having I've actually worked at a flower shop and designed many arrangements and bouquets.. fifth of all we told him the price didn't matter and he still made it look cheap. SIX OF ALL they did not have a good selection not only on pre made arrangements but they had a terrible selection of flowers behind the counter where he was seemingly trying to push me out of saying over and over again that he was gonna make it look so pretty and I ofcourse had to rearranged the mess of different cut length roses - peonies ect when I got home to put it in our vase. SO NOT IMPRESSED.. OF YEAH And I also did not like the way he decorated our live plant. overall I felt he rushed us into something we really didn't want by not properly communicating and assuming we didn't know what we were doing when in reality he didn't know what he was doing AND the flowers were just a tad bit overpriced. especially considering they charged us 12 dollars a stem for peonies and one of them was just a but that NEVER OPENED where the other two were already bloomed.. who does that? a con...
Read moreI highly recommend Bartlett’s Florist, for anyone looking for wedding flowers! I found it through my church bulletin (St.Philips the Apostle in Clifton) and thought it would be perfect to get flowers both for myself and for the church. From the very first meeting, Marietta was amazing. We met a couple of times to go over the types of flowers for my bouquet, and she even showed me examples of the blooms she would use. We discussed every detail, from how the bouquet should be draped and having all the stems wrapped in ribbons, to adding a small crucifix with stones that matched the lace applique on my dress. She even confirmed the exact length of the bouquet (9 inches) that I wanted. On the day of the wedding, I was absolutely amazed when the bouquet was delivered—it was even more beautiful than I had anticipated. It was easy to carry and looked stunning in my bridal photos! I was even more impressed when I arrived at the church and saw the bouquets on either side of the altar. They were gorgeous, large, and perfectly matched the colors of my bouquet. Marietta also created a beautiful Mother Mary bouquet, all within a reasonable cost. Marietta is a joy to work with, and she truly brought my vision to life—not just for my bouquet, but for all the floral arrangements at the church. If you’re considering wedding flowers and want them to match your ceremony perfectly, Bartlett Florist is...
Read moreOutstanding excellence is how I would refer to Bartlett’s. Their floral arrangements, regardless of any occasion will leave you breathless and the same goes for their customer service. They are true experts in design and how flowers fit into the orchestration of your event. They are so incredibly in tune with their craft and if you’re not sure how the flowers should look or what you should do - ask them, they know because again they are experts in their craft. They are my go-to florist. I’ve used them for multiple occasions: centerpieces for my bridal shower, baby shower, four dozen roses for my best friend’s 40th, and most recently, two beautiful, open hearts, and a casket, blanket for my late father in law, gone too soon. Their work is simply stunning and I will never look anywhere else for flowers. Thank you so much Nancy and Mariana you both sure know how to run a business… an over 100 year old...
