Bad Powerful sound system run way too loud Seats too small and close. Besides loud speakers, no sound treatment. Boring interior
Admit that I went to a recent " dance " performance that was, to me, rarely not overly abstract, off the wall and meaningless. The sound was abstract and equally meaningless. Having good hearing, the extra loud event without sense was painful and exhausting to me. To sit for 80 mins straight was the worst theater experience ever. Popcorn was equally meaningless as finale.

Read moreI've been going to the Kasser Theatre for about 10 years, if not longer. It's a real gem of a find. The students offer a wide range of performances: orchestra, jazz, chorus, plays, musicals, dance, etc. There are also professional performances. I recently saw the Shanghai Quartet perform there. Excellent! The tickets are very reasonably priced, $10-30. How can you go wrong? There's on site parking which is reasonably priced, & I recently discovered an on-campus diner, very cute, 1950's retro style, with decent food. Also, the theatre itself is very attractive & comfortable, with very good acoustics. The lobby offers coffee, tea, & light snacks. Performances do follow the school calendar, unless they've changed that this year....
