Veterans Park is perfect if you just want to spot to get out and run around. They have a nice picnic area that is kept really clean. So if you're looking to have a picnic with you and your family awesome place if you're looking to just get out on your lunch break and you live close to the area great place as well. Read moreIt's a very open park. No playground but lots of space to play. A very large memorial for veterans on a mural right next to a picnic shelter is in the park. The picnic shelter had a bunch of easily accessible outlets that are great for birthday parties, family reunions and even Pokemon Go players who need some extra battery power. Lots of pokestops too. The only okay in Cloquet worth going to for community day.

Read morePeople with dogs need to clean up after your pet's messes!!! The event today in the park was wet but fun for the kids. People walking dogs everywhere and piles of poo were being left in the grass. If I or my kids had stepped in any of it, I would have been very upset. Being that there is another event for kids tomorrow where families will be spreading blankets out on the ground and bringing their own chairs. . .in the evening when the sun goes down, all I can say is BEWARE!!!
