DO NOT join their wine club. This is a really tough review for us to write. Sbragia is where I proposed and we eventually held a small wedding ceremony. However, I've had some poor experiences at the winery recently. The staff forgot to order our lunch during a recent tasting, we've had excessively priced bottles ($100+ cab) added to our shipments, and we learned that our favorite staff members were no longer part of the winery after the COVID shutdown.
Because of these unfortunate circumstances, I've decided to leave the wine club and support other local wineries. I honestly hoped that I could return to Sbragia in the future but I can no longer support this business on an on-going basis. However, Amy Ryan, their club manager insists that I pay a $50 cancellation fee to leave their wine club. This is even after we've spent over $2000 at their winery over the last 6 months between wine purchases and the events we've hosted there. Not once did anyone even ask me about my experience and why I wanted to leave the club. They just mentioned I signed up for 3 shipments and if I wanted to leave "early" I would have to pay. It's so sad to see the staff of this winery nickel and diming their customers. Go to Sbragia, enjoy the view and lovely wine, the company of the few good staff remaining, but don't join...

We arrived at 3:55, with passport theoretically closing at 4. For reference, a day earlier, we hanged around in peace at Cast until 4:30. Well, at 3:55, we are told that they are closed. And when my wife asked for the bathroom, she was informed - I cannot share this information with you.
We left. My wife did not use their bathroom. And the sour taste stayed with us all the way home. Removing Sbragia from our passport list.

Read moreThis beautiful property with amazing hillside views AND THEN.......... ruining any possible photograph is an ugly parking lot full of winery debris: boxes, junk, etc...... so disappointing.......... AND THEN in the tasting room......... We choose a tasting and the middle aged "no personality" steward couldn't rush us through the tasting any faster if she tried!!!! Uninformative, almost rude, etc..... AND THEN the wines...... not sure how much money fell into Robert Parker's back pocket to rate these wines as high as he did because they were AWFUL. They definitely lived up to their region because these Dry Creek wines tasted like Dry DIRT! No flavor and too bitter. Couldn't get out of there...
