As a resident of Callaway House, I can confidently say that one of the standout features of this student housing building is the warm and inviting atmosphere created by its front desk worker, Cooper. From the moment you step into the lobby, Cooper's friendly demeanor and welcoming smile make you feel right at home.
I still remember the first day I moved in and saw the handsome young man at the front desk. The tall and confident man was eager to help me, and although I was a little nervous talking to such a cute guy he didn’t make it awkward at all. We talked about many topics that we had in common from basketball to our shared faith as he helped me move in.
Cooper is more than just a front desk worker; he's a cornerstone of the community. Whether you're coming back from a long day of classes or grabbing a package, Cooper is always there with a cheerful greeting and a willingness to assist with any needs or questions you may have. His professionalism is matched only by his genuine kindness, making every interaction with him a pleasure.
What sets Cooper apart is his attention to detail and personalized service. He remembers residents' names and preferences, making each encounter feel personal and special. Whether it's recommending local eateries or helping to coordinate maintenance requests, Cooper goes above and beyond to ensure that residents have everything they need to feel comfortable and supported.
Beyond his exceptional customer service skills, Cooper also adds a touch of charm to the building. His sense of humor and easygoing nature create a relaxed atmosphere that makes Callaway House feel more like a home than just a place to live. Whether he's sharing a funny anecdote or engaging in casual conversation, Cooper has a knack for brightening up even the dreariest of days.
It's no exaggeration to say that Cooper is the highlight of coming home to my apartment each day. His presence at the front desk serves as a warm welcome and a reminder that I'm part of a community where I'm valued and cared for. In a fast-paced and often impersonal world, Cooper's genuine warmth and hospitality are truly refreshing.
Ultimately, Cooper is more than just a front desk worker; he's the heart and soul of Callaway House. His dedication to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment sets the standard for excellence in student housing. Read moreOkay, context: I am a freshman in college, and I decided to live here purely upon the basis of being friends with a guy I knew in high school. Firstly, on move in day the place was unbelievably dirty, everything was either coated in dust or dirt, and there was absolutely no sign of any attempt prior to move in day for it to be cleaned. Secondly, everything breaks. Our toilet has broken, our bathroom light has broken, our sink garage disposal has broken, and the list goes on. Thirdly, they charge you for a cleaning service fee in which they "opt you in" for the first few weeks and then randomly stop. My friend/roomate figured out that in order to keep getting this service, which you ARE CHARGED with, you MUST go to the front desk and personally opt back in for it. In addition, the cleaning isn't even that good, and I can do a better job in half the amount of time. Thirdly, when you put in a service request, it takes them days to fix it. Our toilet and bathroom light literally took nearly a week to get fixed, and we had to pester them into being timely. Fourthly, the staff could care less about trash and maintenance. This place gets trashed like no other on game days, weekends, and especially the TU/A&M game which had literal cops in the lobby and patrolling throughout the building. Next, the cafe closes at 8PM on a weekday, and 6PM on the weekends. This just simply isn't adequate for a college kid, and although they sometime alter this for finals to where you can "bring your own food you pay for back to the room you pay for," it simply doesn't allow for much flexibility. The food is pretty decent, and they have a good selection most days. Lastly, isn't some sort of angry surge I went on to rant about how this place is overcharged, underworked, and below average, it's to prevent someone like me who had no clue what he was getting into, to not live here. Park West, which is right next to Callaway is more affordable, better amenities, and a better environment overall. Moral of the story, don't...
