Great big playground, if you have never brought your kids here you should make the trip,,, After remodeling Nerfed another park, yes it's new and the big bucket on splash pad is a focal point BUT the original wood playground was the best by far, we drove from out of town to take kids there now it's just another park....as kids we learned a lot on the playground, personal limits, falling from to high hurts, physical control of body while running jumping exedra, social interactions with peers that did not have a safety net of parents , if you want to keep up try harder. These things are not present in modern micro parks around the towns we visit. All in all the parks that I've seen get upgrades just make it smaller with less of a chance for life lessons that can only be learned by scraped knees , getting your breath knocked out and splinters .....in the end there is nothing there now for us to make the 45 min drive...

This a great place for kids of all ages. Our youngest is 5 and our oldest is 13. Everyone enjoys coming to this park. It's big, clean, and fun for all of them. There is a walking path that encircles the fenced in april so that you could walk or jog around while the kids play. Some kids bring scooters or roller blades and ride around. There is a field where you can throw a ball or frisbee. Tables and covered seating to eat or hang out. It's a really nice spot. We have seen things broken, but someone usually comes out to fix it quickly. Definitely recommend this place for the...

I really wish every city and state had something as cool as Funtastic Island! It’s free and it’s full of fun! They have playgrounds for all ages and a great splash pad for everyone. They also have swing sets and a pavilion. There’s restrooms and most of all, it’s clean! There’s plenty of shade and parking. It’s fun for everyone and I appreciate places like these where families can take their children for a fun day — wet or dry! Such a super cool place, would return and recommend highly!

Has a huge sand box and an enormous jungle gym with several slides and bridges to cross. There is a little creek that runs behind the play ground. The creek separates the park from the enormous baseball soccer stadiums for little leagues. The Vietnam memorial , several picnic tables and a covered Pavillion is with in shouting range of the kids playground. The only draw back is that there is NO WATER FEATURE OR SHADE. Not so fun in the summertime sun:(
