When I arrived to the spa no one was at the front desk. I waited a few minutes then went into the salon and saw someone, said I was waiting and then at that time someone walked out. When I went to the locker room my shoes were both left feet, I just took the one next to me. The bench in the locker room is stained. The ā€˜steam room’ was less than 100 degrees, the ceiling; absolutely gross. I was surprised that there was a bottle there to spray essential oils in but you had to pay extra for that. My partner: when he went into the locker room there was no robes or shoes, he has to go out and request one. They were all empty when we left hours later as well. The locks were gone on many of the lockers on his side as well. His steam room had the spray and was actually hot. For a $215 50 minute massage I expect more. I responded to the ā€œsurvey with this exact complaint and a refund request on the 27th of October with no response. I don’t not recommend going here.

I just wanted to take a moment to let anyone know who’s considering a service at Strata Spa—don’t hesitate! What makes this spa truly exceptional is the people. Everyone is so sweet, kind, and caring. Seriously, the emphasis is on caring. I’ve been coming here for over two years, and now I make it a point to get a massage every week and a facial once a month. My standards are generally pretty high, but Strata Spa meets or exceeds them every single time. Special shoutout to Mark at the front desk—he always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m well taken care of. And my massage therapist, Rebekah, is hands down one of the most skilled therapists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, anywhere in the world. Also, the amenities are out of this world. The steam room is incredible, and the shower with its 10 spray heads? Amazing. If you’re looking for a top-notch spa experience, this is the place. Highly recommend!

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but my experience with Michelle was so disappointing that I felt I had to say something..

Michelle just did my hair and makeup for my friend’s wedding. The make up was ā€œehā€ at best and really nothing special. I asked her for false lashes which is basically the only reason I paid to have makeup done, and she said she didn’t have any. I was quite disappointed, but then I heard the stylist working with another bridesmaid sitting next to me ask if SHE would like fake lashes, so I inquired why this was available to the other bridesmaid working with a different stylist but not to me (and mind you I paid just as much). Michelle acted annoyed that I had asked for this very simple and what I would consider routine service for a bridal party. She even ā€œforgotā€ about them at the end and tried to hurry me out of the room; I had to remind her again about them, at which point she applied the most ridiculously huge, costume-looking false lashes I have ever seen.

She then went on to do my hair which honestly turned out hideous and nothing like the picture I showed her for inspiration. My hair ended up falling out of the updo she did during the wedding ceremony, and I had to completely redo it myself in the bathroom at the reception. I am nowhere near a professional stylist, but even I managed to redo my own hair and make it look better than what she had originally done and it held the rest of the night when I did it.

I am extremely upset that I paid so much for makeup I could’ve done myself and hair I ended up having to redo myself. If any brides out there are considering using this salon for your big day, I would strongly caution against it. Our bride brought in her own stylist who did only her hair and makeup, and it’s a good thing she did. I have had many wonderful experiences having my hair and makeup done when part of a bridal party in the past, but this one was beyond disappointing and honestly I’d like my money back. I’d give zero...

The level of customer service and professionalism is really lacking here. There is an extremely rude receptionist named Barbara who gave us a very hard time. We had an appointment that we had cancelled per their 48 hour cancellation policy. Barbara claimed we never cancelled it and threatened to charge a 50% fee of the service unless we came for the appointment. I assured I had cancelled but told her we would come if we were going to be charged a steep cancellation fee. When we arrived Barbara informed us that she cancelled the appointment and charged us the cancellation fee of $160 to our room. I told her that was unacceptable and I would like to have the massage if I had to pay a cancellation fee she refused so I asked for it in writing that she is refusing us service but still charging us a cancellation fee even though we are here for our appointment. I also told her I’d like to speak to her manager. She told me the manager was not available and that she felt unsafe for her staff because of the way we were acting by refusing to pay the cancellation fee after being refused service. So basically she was wanting to charge us for cancellation even tho we were willing to get the massage and showed up on time for it and she’s refusing us service. She actually was dishonest about this and after talking to the front desk we were able to get the charge dropped. But Barbara has absolutely no manners or customer relations skills and is downright vindictive to her customers at the spa. I would avoid this spa and go elsewhere, a big portion of my afternoon was wasted trying to sort this out while on my vacation. Its really a shame that such a nice resort would allow such a nasty mean spirited person like Barbara to run their spa. I’ve gotten treated way better at other spas. Her behavior was totally...

I have known and worked with Kelli on a professional level for over 15 years and have nothing but rave reviews for her skills in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I first started seeing Kelli for the purpose of treating the emotional symptoms of what has now been diagnosed as PTSD. I was suffering from panic attacks, anxiety, depression and migraine headaches. I experienced profound relief in working with Kelli.

In addition to these more acute symptoms, I also experienced relief of symptoms related to a genetic disorder – polycystic kidney disease (PKD). Some of the most common early symptoms of this disease include acid reflux, anemia, high blood pressure and increased creatinine levels. Under Kelli’s care, I was able to successfully manage all of these symptoms, and even experienced a reduction in symptoms – creatinine in particular. My nephrologist was amazed as this is typically not the case with those diagnosed with PKD.

In addition to her exemplary skills in acupuncture and TCM, Kelli is a warm, welcoming and supportive practitioner who diligently and devotedly attends to her clients. She is kind, understanding and filled with integrity. She is a true professional who while devoted also upholds excellent boundaries with her clients. While being a professional source of support, she also empowers them to take charge of their own health and wellbeing, adding appropriate wholistic suggestions where appropriate.

You could not choose a more professional, knowledgeable or kinder acupuncturist to join your practice than Kelli Miller. I recommend her...
