3 Square Art — Attraction in Colorado

3 Square Art is such a gem in our community! As a hobby artist, the opportunity to access professional technique in an accessible way and at an affordable life feels like such a gift. I learned SO much and saw a huge transformation in my capacity for capturing realism that I know I will be integrating for years to come. Craig is a really kind, informative teacher. He makes it easy to be a learner and feel comfortable regardless of level or success with the exercise. The content density felt really valuable without being overwhelming. I just finished Drawing I and can't wait until Drawing II lines up with my schedule...or maybe I'll take Drawing I again - thats how much opportunity I felt the class afforded! It's also a really calm, comfortable, well-attended environment....

Praises for Portrait Drawing class given by Elena at 3Square. This teacher was classically trained and she demonstrated that and spoke to each of us in such a way that I was able to change what I was doing and improve on the spot. It’s not easy getting artists to change from what is comfortable. It was a risk just signing up for the class. I hadn’t been in a studio to draw in many years. 3Square teaching studio is well stocked with what we were going to use and they uniquely took advantage of technology so that we could watch Elena draw at the same time we were at our own easels. I cannot say enough good things about 3 Square Art!

I rented a studio space at 3 Square for a handful of years and had a wonderful experience! It is a beautiful facility that is well kept. The shared spaces are always very clean and inviting- indoor and outdoors. The owners are very attentive to the artist’s needs. I absolutely loved the community of artists while I was there.

I have also participated as an artist in exhibits at 3 Square. They are very well curated and hung professionally. They provide a fair contract. The opening nights are well attended and fun. I highly recommend applying to...
