Harriman Lake — Attraction in Colorado

A great spot for a quick trail run or walk. There's not much shade so be prepared to be in direct sunlight most of the hike. The trail itself is a well cared for dirt road: wide, smooth, and flat. Definitely stroller friendly too. Parking is a bit awkward. There's a small dirt lot right next to the Fire Station. The loop around the lake is about 1.5 miles or so, by my rough guess. Nice short wide trail. Good to take a lap or two around. But it will be muddy after a snow or rain. I wish the lot was paved. Beautiful for a winter...
