Nestled between the Harriman Lake neighborhood, a federal prison, and a county frisbee disc golf course, this man made lake is the perfect place to escape for a quiet stroll around the lake with the dog. There are plenty of rocks for all sizes, age groups, and skill level to throw into the water. Parking is limited, so get there early. Insect and bugs like to congregate on the south side of the trail.

Read moreNice park around a lake. Keep an eye out for the entrance. Even though I knew it was coming, I had to circle back. Entrance and exit in the same area, treat that with caution too. My friend and I did a couple loops and figured that was about enough. Dirt parking lot, almost wish there were some lines to separate different areas, but I doubt they commonly have a full parking lot. Saw people fishing. Not much in the way of shade unless you get closer to the water. I would definitely come back...
Read moreWe really enjoy taking a walk around this neighborhood park. There are benches all around the lake for you to sit and take a break. Although, after it rains or the snow melts, beware that it can get a bit muddy since the trails are all dirt.
