Andrew Jackson Higgins National Memorial — Attraction in Columbus

If you are a history buff, this park is awesome! There is a sculpture dedicated to 9/11 with very descriptive information board, flag assembly including territorial flags, not just US state flags, with an information board describing their significance. There are bronze statues that are described and a metal model of a WW2 beach landing craft. A really nice place to visit. You can walk in the boat, and sit in the driver's seat. A cool life size reenactment space. Makes you feel like your landing on a beach during D-Day. There's a nice walking trail next to a river next to the place. Also a nice city park. Lots of trees in the park for shade or have a picnic. Great place for young and old. Well...
