New Nail Spa — Attraction in Columbus

Due to a horrible experience with a nail salon on Morse Road, I was looking for a new salon and calling around to set up appointments for the Saturday morning before New Years/New Years Eve. Everywhere was booked, understandably, up until 2p and just as I was about to give up I found the New Nail Spa who booked me and my mom for 11a Saturday morning. When we arrived for our appointment, we were instantly seated and taken care of. I got an acrylic full set and my mom got a gel manicure. They made sure we were comfortable and liked our nails. Customer service was great and my mom who never liked nail salons because she couldn't stand the heavy smell enjoyed her experience so much that she wants to go back and get a full set when I go for a balance! I do believe I have found my new go to salon and will be returning very soon for a balance...

I researched a bunch of nail salons in my area and found this gem early last year. I've since moved away but I work nearby and still make time to come back. They have some of the best reviews for good reason. The place is clean though simple, the prices are more than reasonable and the owner James is wonderful. I always get a gel set and occasionally a pedicure and my nails are always left in great shape with no chipping or lifting. He answers any questions you have clearly and never, ever makes you feel rushed even if it means they're staying well past close to finish up. This will continue to be my go-to salon. I definitely recommend it!!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This nail shop was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My nail tech Yen was so dismissive of anything I said. I got a pedicure and the water was boiling HOT and I asked her to turn it down, she sighed and did so. I told her I just wanted a simple pedicure and clear polish, she was rough with my feet and caused me to bleed. She never apologized, and kept going. She was getting the old polish off my nails and again she cut me and didn’t apologize. I will never be back here again. They only like a certain type of customer because her coworker was equally being dismissive to another black customer next to me. If you’re black, your money is dirt to them so dont even bother...
