⚠️BEWARE ⚠️ OF THE OLD WOMAN WHO LIVES DIRECTLY OFF OF THE WATERFALL!!!!!! We come here often. My husband and I as well as our 2 kiddos love it because there is SO much open space for them to drive their R. C. cars, drones, play outdoor games ECT. As well as the trails, and waterfall. We have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM despite the parks nickname and reputation 😕 until this Sunday 😕 We were walking down towards the waterfall like always when my husband noticed that the house right there looked empty and wanted to go check it out. Keep in mind we're coming on off of the back of the house not the front. NO ONE WAS LIVING IN THE HOUSE, IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY BESIDES INDOOR CONSTRUCTION STUFF. We did not disturb anything, pick anything up, we looked in the windows, admiring the house. When we got to the front is when I noticed the back of a sign and when I walked up to it and looked at the front of the sign I walked to my husband and son, told them there was a "NO TRESPASSING" Sign and we made our way back down the slope on the backyard and continued on our our way down to the waterfall. They found an access through the backyard that went straight there without having to go back to the trails so we took that way. My husband and son were skipping rocks towards the end of our time down there. As we were coming out of the woods from the trail some old woman comes outta nowhere at us saying " don't let him throw my bricks in the water again." Your not gonna accuse my kid of doing something he didn't do and I'm going to stick up for my kid no matter who you are, how old you are ECT. So I told her he idk what your talking about but it wasn't him he didn't touch anything let alone carry a concrete from where we were to the water. SMH

Great park to use as entry points for the people trail. Lots of parking. Water tends to collect and stagnate with heavy rain which allows for mosquitoes to run rampant. I meet with groups of moms with young kids and have noticed there is often gatherings of what appear to be “homeless” folks. I’ve never had any sort of issue with anyone there, but it does make some ppl uncomfortable and is worth noting.

Wide open spaces for your animals to run! Couple ball diamonds to play, but this park is just open space to enjoy nature and family. Access to Columbus’ people trails and much more! Come visit Columbus and see the beauty, architecture and much much more!

Old park I used to go with friends. Practice baseball diamonds, riverside people trails, scenic with railroad tressle high above with bridge for train. Found excellent for drone flight practice; not getting into trees! My friend Bill had airforce Major Dad, got us old military parachute. This park is open enough to parachute-sled at high...
