Markham Nature Area — Attraction in Concord

Cool small tranquil park nestled amongst the houses and has a small creek running through it. Great area for a short walk in the afternoon. No bathrooms on site that I found, or playground. They have a community gardens area, and a nice creek walkway and some other paths throughout the park, but no poison oak found. Most plants and trees are labeled and a good diversity of them, from all over the world. There are informative signs in the different areas explaining world location and environment of the plants. A hidden gem - a quiet, beautiful park and arboretum, popular with dogs and their walkers. There are educational horticultural collections, a broad sunny lawn, winding shady paths, and a seasonal creek.
