Concord Community Park — Attraction in Concord

Great park, huge and green, lots of shade. Great for Pokémon Go. Pool is stellar, check hours. Lap swim, public swim, hi dive & snack bar. Weekends are always a blast, so many places to take the kids to play, have a b-day party, BB-Q or other event. Get a permit and have a bouncy house. Plenty of room for on-leash dogs, strolling, any outdoor games, tennis and oh, yeah, the awesome public OLYMPIC PLUS POOL. Parking is a breeze aside from swim meets, pretty diverse and well behaved crowd. Definitely a blast for moms or dads to bring kids to good, fun well-built play structures while they have a chance to read a good book, get work done or just write in journal uninterrupted while kids tire themselves out with other sweet kiddos.

Great park , walk my dogs there daily. The park is very well maintained lots of trees it's nicely kept workers are always taking care of trash or broken tree limbs. You see a lot of regular people coming to walk or jog or like myself walk dogs. They have several doggy bag stations for us dog walkers. Because there's so many people I feel safe. I really didn't spend much time at the park, I was there to take my dog for a walk, which I will not do again as with just a short walk through the grass she started limping, I immediately checked her paws, all 4 were full of stickers which took quite a while to get out. I couldn't carry her out as I use a walker as it is. I had to sit her on the seat & push her out. Others seemed to be enjoying themselves though. Just wasn't a...
