They had a Candlelight Christmas at the Historical Society last night. It’s definitely a hidden gem! It’s well organized. They have several buildings to see. They have a elevator in the main building!!You can expect to be there several hours if you enjoy history. There is a restaurant close by. It will reopen In the spring. Very interesting...I spoke with Bob the wood working man who was cutting dovetail joints by hand and the wood carving man and he explained all his tools and techniques. Also spoke with a couple about how they process flax into linen...very cool to see the way things were done in the 1800's and in some cases hasn't...
