Worst Management Ever! My wife and I went there a few days ago with our 2 children to celebrate my birthday. All I wanted to do for my birthday was take my son on his first Go-Kart ride. The track looked awesome, although the place was kind of run down, I still thought, this will be fun. So we planned to to the batting cages, the go karts and then a quick game of mini golf. I went ahead and bought the tickets for the batting cages and Go Kart. 1 ticket for me and 1 for my son to ride along with me. We wait in line for the Go Karts, only to be turned away, as my son was about an inch too short. I get that he can't ride, I am sure it has to do with liability. Although, I was disappointed, we decided to get a refund, go eat and decide if we wanted to come back (we were out of town by 30 minutes). So I went up to the desk and explained what happened, only to find out they are supposed to measure each rider before selling tickets to make sure this didn't happen. I was fine with a refund though. That is when the manager got involved. She knew this was our first time here and I choose to celebrate my birthday with them. She was also aware that her employee didn't measure my son before selling us the tickets. So what was her response? I'm sorry we have a no refund policy. The worst part, is she said it smugly, almost with a laugh, as she smiled and shook her head side to side. Like I was annoying her. I made sure she was aware of all the details. She eventually said she would refund my son's ticket and I could still ride the Go Karts. By this time, she was creating a scene and all the other customers were so confused with why she was acting this way. I even said to her, so you expect me to go to the Go Karts, ride and have my son crying as he watches me from the other side? I eventually said, made sure she knew she had lost customers for a lifetime. Which is sad, because we would have came back. To make a long story shorter, it was not until I requested to talk to the owner of the place, that she was willing to give us back our money. The sad thing is, all she had to say is, "We do not offer refunds. However, since this is your first time and i see that we made a mistake, I would be happy to refund you this time. In the future though, just be aware we do not offer refunds." I would have left happy and we would have come back. As of now, we will never go back. And after we left, we went to Carlisle Sports Emporium, which was actually a lot more fun. My son was tall enough to ride on the Go Karts, the arcade was better and the mini golf was out of this world. If you live in the area do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Is safety was you highest priority, then it should be an easy and quick fix. "Sorry about that, safety is our highest priority. I see we did not measure him before selling a ticket, let's get you a refund." Not only do you show you care about safety, but also about the customer. It should not be a 10 minute debate, on how you don't do refunds. When it is a blatant no refunds policy, it shows MONEY is you...
Read moreI came here to buy two sets of table and chairs. Yeah not for the “adventure “ but a purchase just the same. They were advertised by the owner clearly as two sets consisting of 2 outdoor tables and 8 chairs For $100. But after I drove over half an hour to make this purchase he tells me that he can only sell me one set of tables and 4 chairs because he promised them to other people… who were also on the way, at the same time that day. Actually, he had at least three groups of people coming to buy the tables and chairs all under the impression that they were going to be purchasing two tables and 8 chairs for $100. But the switch gets worse… he doubled his price to $100 for each set!
Fortunately, I only drove a half hour unlike the last guy who showed up to be empty-handed. He drove over an hour from York!.
Total bait and switch and worse..
So no matter what you plan on buying from this place just know … That if there’s any issue if there’s any confusion if there’s any miscommunication, be intentional or accidental, this place is managed and owned by a man who will tell you to go and kick rocks… or a can down the road empty-handed for all he cares. Here for fun, but have a problem, I can only imagine he’ll give you the exact same treatment. Maybe over sell his venue and tell you too bad … nah I doubt it because every single time I’ve driven past this place there’s a pathetic few people pretending...
Read moreHorrible customer service! Wasted an hour of our family Labor Day trying to get a coupon they advertise with clipper magazine to work. After they admitted that is a known issue, they still didn't offer to honor the deal and basically just said "sorry your time was wasted but there's nothing we can do". Will never ever give them any money ever again. There's other mini golf locations in the area!! Stay far far away!!!
Editing in response to business response: I assure you that it was not working. I believe it was a clipper magazine because when we left and went to another establishment, the QR wouldn't work there either. The major difference is, the next establishment actually cares about their customers more, and apologized for the inconvenience, and gave us the coupon anyway. That is what separates good customer service from bad, being a business who actually cares about their customers and looks at them as more than a dollar sign. Because of that, the other establishment now has lifelong customers as we will continue to go back there and willingly spend our money, and refer our friends, while I will never come back to your establishment, and I will never refer anyone to you. There are far too many other good mini golf and family fun places in the area that I will gladly rather give my...
