The Stables at Connoquenessing — Attraction in Connoquenessing Township

I was at a wedding here. This facility is very unique! The staff and bartenders were very nice and made excellent drinks! Upon walking in there is beautiful woodwork throughout the stables. A patio and beautiful lighting for the evening. A walk up the steps the area for wedding and reception is very roomy. Seating was perfect and very clean. Cathedral ceilings with the most perfect amount of light for a 3pm wedding. The lighting for the reception dims to perfection. The food was on a scale of 1-10 and 10 being the best food venue for a wedding I would rate it a 6 out of 10. The chicken was slightly over cooked, mashed potatoes were good but slightly harder than creamy. The salad was good and the roast beef was good. Rolls were good and the cookie spread was outstanding all private vendors for food. Overall I would rate this venue a 8 out of 10. If your looking for that rustic, warm and beautiful, mystical feel and look then this is the place! Cathedral ceilings are so beautiful and the pictures of the horses to the mirrors were all perfect. The stables are absolutely beautiful! From cathedral ceilings & Chandeliers upstairs, with a rustic lounge & bar downstairs, the outdoor patio with beautiful lighting all the way to the Bridal dressing room. It is handicapped accessible and 2 floors which I loved for my wedding. I thought it was a great option to have it all in the same location but break up the space to give a different more intimate feel, even though it's a large venue.

We had a breathtaking ceremony upstairs, then were able to fit a long table downstairs, have the bar and the lounge area on the other side for a laid back laid back reception.

Jaclyn is an angel and works absolute miracles. I gave her only a few short weeks notice. I was lucky enough that they had an opening. They were so very accommodating and made a wedding of our dreams!!! I would have literally been lost without her. She made absolutely every detail perfect. Also, she was great with helping me hook up with a caterer and meticulously over saw every detail. I did not have one mental breakdown or an ounce of stress knowing she was by my side for our special day!!!

I can not say enough about this venue. For so many reasons. 1.) The facility is absolutely STUNNING. So beautiful. If you are looking for an elegant rustic style, this place is perfect. It is already so beautifully decorated, I needed no extra decorations. It really is a 1 stop shop. So convenient to have your ceremony and reception in the same place. There is a Wonderfull pond on the property that makes for amazing photos. 2.) Location, Location, Location. Only about 10 minutes from anything you might need, hotels, beer distributor, liquor store, pizza joint. You name it, its not far away. 3.) The Staff: Jaclyn, the day of coordinator, was beyond helpful. I must have sent her 1000 emails. She always answered in a timely fashion and with great detail. Incredibly...
