I hate leaving bad reviews for local places, but after taking a year to think about it I'm still disappointed with their service. We custom ordered furniture and it took considerably longer to come in than planned. For months we used makeshift stand-ins for what we ordered. When it did, they wanted to charge more for delivery which was included. The worst part was that they had pitched a 3-year no interest which we took as a credit building exercise. It had been nearly a decade since last opening a credit account and hey, zero percent. We signed the order and setup automated monthly payments so that it would be paid off months prior to the end of the promotional rate. We were well into payments long before the furniture came in, which they blamed more on the manufacturer, and that was acceptable to us. The issue came about a year after furniture came in, when we logged in to just check the account. Synchrony had waived the rate and charged back interest, at their normally higher than CC rate. We called and they said that it had been turned in as a 1-year rate, not 3-year rate, but that Wiggins could fix it by sending them a correction (which I assume comes with a lower commission). Multiple calls to their offices asking for calls back to resolve it over the course of months and nothing. They said that we agreed to 1-year, even though my spouse was there and agrees that it was clearly a 3-year expectation. We asked for the paperwork and never received a copy. We asked to potentially just pay them the commission difference and have them correct it to 3-year to potentially make it a win/win, still nothing. Finally we just paid it off with the high interest and tried to move on, but it's continued to bother me. I'm leaving this review in retrospect because of the operation, not because of the product. Beware of their financing and you'll likely be fine. I don't believe them to be honest when representing it though. Disappointing since I know others have had good luck with them and we've had to find a replacement store to finish out the rest...
Read moreI have only given a bad review one other time in my entire life. I believe people for the most part only complain and not recognize the good. This review is not in haste but well thought out and given as a result of poor warranty/replacement service. I have a Flex Steel love seat with double recliner. I have had Wiggins our 2 times and their furniture repair contracted company out 3 times a total of 5 times in 3 years. I called Wiggins as instructed by Flex Steel last week and was told I would receive a call back. I waited 3 days and called again and was told they were referring it to their furniture repair. Waited for a call back. 2 days later I called to get the repair company’s name and phone number. Called the repair company only to be told there is a $65 charge to come out and diagnose the problem. Both Wiggins and the repair company have been patching the problem. To work for short term. I was told by furniture repair they needed to replace it the second time. And Flex Steel would settle up with Wiggins. My furniture is taken care of. Owner came to my home twice. Seen for himself it was in excellent shape. This should have not been happening. I have a loveseat that is suppose to be high quality that does not recline. And will cost me to repair....
Read moreChris was very helpful and knowledgeable but the delivery driver made a comment that I’m not sure how to take. Upon delivery they came in and wanted to see where we wanted the furniture. I explained location of where I wanted everything and upon going outdoors to get furniture the bigger of the two men stated I was a typical Wiggins customer! Now that can be taken several ways so I didn’t say anything. I should have asked what he meant by that because of his tone I didn’t think he was paying me any compliments!! Very frustrating when you go into a furniture store and spend a load of money and be talked down to by a delivery driver to a place that you just spent over $6000.00. The drivers need to be a little more careful about who they open their...
