Interesting, historical, useful and fun! The visitor center is not only an interesting historical landmark but one that is available for events. Plus the ranger station is located there and if you haven't stopped in the meet the Rangers you should, very nice people who care about the forest, its wildlife and the people that visit it in all its capacity.
