Review done 3 - 14 - 21. Jackson Lake Wrightwood California. Elevation 3574 feet. As you can see in the pictures the snow hasn't completely thawed out. This is most likely due to the fact that it is located in Wrightwood California in the Los Angeles National Forest. The parking lot was full today and there were a lot of families enjoying their time picnicking. Overall this place is very Scenic and very calm. Definitely a good spot to come enjoy a nice picnic or a nice hiking trail. The lake seemed kind of small to me and I'm not sure if this is due to the lack of rain in California for the last few years. Nevertheless a nice quiet spot to come to meditate and to relax and to get away from the city....

Nice spot for a BBQ and hanging out. Shaded picnic tables. Kayak and Paddle board rentals. $10 parking with limited spaces....
