Beautiful overlook, had its own share of history during the battle of Harpers ferry. Short drive from visitor center. Not a lot of parking space, but its ok. Several cannons scattered around, nice place to walk early in the morning to watch the sunrise, and sunset.

Beautiful view of the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah river. It's one of my favorite spots to get a short pre- or post-work walk in.

Walked the lower ridge loop that parallels schoolhouse ridge. Easy going down and moderately difficult coming back up. Very hot and humid.

Beautiful view. Definitely worth a stop saf story about the men that died there during the battle but knowledge is powerful

Historic with stunning views. Highly recommend stopping here when visiting Hapers Ferry.
