First I want to explain exactly how to get into the Devil's Punch Bowl. This took me a hot minute to figure out the entrance(Actually inside the bowl). First...please go during low tide. When driving to Devil's Punch bowl.. you will pass some stairs to your left that say beach access. Also this is where you will see the surfers headed. *This is not the way* Exactly across from these stairs to your right is a parking area. This is probably the closes public parking to get inside the bowl. If this is full there is parking at the viewpoint, which is just straight on the same street you will see the stairs where the 🏄♀️🏄♂️ is on your left and then the parking lot on your right. If you continue straight you will reach the view point of Devil's Punch bowl. This will have you above the bowl so you will be looking down at it. Now if you want to go inside it, the parking lot I mentioned on the right side before you reach the view point. You will walk right and you will see some stairs also that say beach access. Once you reach the beach, enjoy the view and tide pools. Also there's a small waterfall to your right. But to get to the entrance of the bowl you will walk left and eventually see it. Always pay attention to the ocean. Enjoy!!!!

While adventuring down the Oregon Coast, Vancity Adventure made a stop at one of the most dramatic natural formations we’ve seen yet — Devil’s Punch Bowl. This collapsed sea cave is a swirling cauldron of ocean power, and when the tide is high, it puts on a wild, thundering show that’s both awe-inspiring and humbling. We arrived just before high tide, and the waves crashing inside the bowl were incredible. The roar, the spray, and the sheer force of nature reminded us exactly why we chase moments like this. It’s the kind of place where you just stop, breathe it in, and let the ocean do the talking. There’s an easy-to-access viewing area, and the spot is perfect for photos, short video clips, and drone shots (conditions permitting). If you’re visiting in the summer, don’t miss the nearby trail down to the beach — it’s a local surf spot with epic views and plenty of room to explore.

My wife added this to our vacation list - and it was an awesome addition. Make sure to show up here 30 minutes before lowest-low ride in any day. You get to explore what will me underwater in 6hrs. An amazing natural / geological phenomena that can't be missed if you can make it. I'd say this is worth up to a 90 minute diversion. Park at lot C. Walk out of the far exit (it has 2) and walk down the little paved path. It will take you to a lovely set of tide pools. Far on the left you will start seeing arches. One of them - obvious when standing in front of it - which is the entrance to the punch bowl. Go. For the more adventurous of you - AND ONLY AT THE START OF LOW TIDE - you can move more towards the ocean and find a cave that goes all the way to the ocean inlet to the punch bowl. You are able to stand 99% of the way, single-file tight, but worth the adventure.
