How can you not love the golden sunset from this beautiful beach. 💛 The north side of the beach has the most unique rock in the water that looks like a ancient flat lava flow. I have no idea what it was but I'll be back to do more research with the family. If you visit during low tide you can see the tide pools and enter the Devil's Punchbowl. Please use caution if the tide is rising, you do not want to be in the punch bowl during high tide or during a storm surge. The wind can cause the tide to rise in the punchbowl very quickly. If our dog Kilo loved it your dog will love it too.

We visited during low tide and were able to walk down to the beach north of the devil's punchbowl. Access coming down may be difficult for some individuals with a steep gravel path and erosion. We saw pelicans, seagulls, crabs, a small natural waterfall, and tidepools. The beach was pleasant even with a wind and mist in the air. We walked along the shore and explored the Devil's Punchbowl. There are many boulders to walk on and small caves to explore. Pets are allowed and the beach is clean.

My disdain for the cold, dreary Oregon coastline is never hidden, but every once in awhile the sun comes out, and makes for some interesting scenery. No, Oregon does not have beaches. They have coastlines. There isn't much to do here other than to take in some dramatic rock formations, and oooh and awe when a good storm hits.

Love this little beach! We got lucky with the weather and was blessed with beautiful sun. Still cold for May but none the less their engagement session was beautiful. Very little wind as well in this little cove. For your next adventure engagement session or couple session visit stunningportraitphotography.com

This place is absolutely beautiful! We stayed at the Inn at Otter Crest. The beach was a short walk and totally worth the uphill battle on the way back. It’s not friendly for disabled people as you can’t really get back up once you go down.

Short steep trail down from the parking area. Absolutely wonderful beach on a low tide. Small gravel patches for beachcombers (found several little agates!), and access to inside of Devil’s Punchbowl!
