Where to begin this location doesn't care to follow up about it's cleaning of blood in the shower stall in the mens bathroom. I told them yesterday that it needed cleaning and it was never done at all or even followed upon. Travis the dm told me if I didn't like i could leave. He didn't like me high tone towards him and the operations manager. They don't sanitize or clean there shower stalls in the mens locker. Travis didn't give a crap and basically told me to take my business somewhere else. I recommend that he basically be let go. People are lazy they don't want to follow sad thing she assumed that it was done yesterday and it wasn't. Images being in a medical office and they don't clean up the blood would you trust the business. Osha time

Update - it is now impossible to park here 6pm-8pm on weekdays as the parking lot is smaller than the gym and not big enough and every spot is taken so had to go to crunch fitness down the street with huge parking lot that never runs out of spots and has more machines. People are parking on curbs and on the grass on the road and still no spots. Management please fix! No longer the Best spot to workout w indoor pool and hot tub in Lutz / Land O lakes tampa. Crunch has more machines and plenty of parking down the street by collier & 54!

On January 1st I went into the facility with my husband and two children for a tour and to speak with someone in person about cost. The facility is beautiful, state of the art, everything someone could want in a gym.

I asked the sales rep about the child care prices. He told me that the facility charges $15 for the 1st child and $5 for the 2nd. The sales rep advised me that membership prices were going up in the new year. He showed me their sales flyer showing the new prices for membership starting January 1st, the day I came in, and said the system was not recognizing the new prices for the year so I should act quickly. I asked him to verify for me the cost of childcare and confirm it would be $15/$5 and if that price was also increasing. He confirmed the price was correct and the cost was not changing. He recommended I try out the child care with the drop in option. So I signed up for the membership. On January 2nd I went to the gym with my family and my sister and her family. We both were giving the kid’s club a shot. We were unaware that reservations needed to be made in advance. Unfortunately they had no availability, but, we took the time while there to fill out the paperwork necessary to enroll the children and speak to the kid’s club manager who also confirmed the cost was $15/$5.

The next evening, I contacted the facility for assistance on reserving a spot for tomorrow. The rep asked if this was a drop in or if I had the childcare add on. I told him it was a drop in. He then informed me that the price went up from what he heard and believes it was $20 for the first child and $5 for the second. He said he was not able to confirm that for me because he wasn’t a sales rep. I then spoke to a sales rep who said he couldn’t confirm it because he wasn’t in front of a computer. I asked for a manager but one was unavailable. I called the facility back to speak to someone in the front desk. The Lady said they heard the price went up and no one was aware of the change, however she didn’t know what the price was.

After that ordeal, I decided to contact other locations for assistance . At one location, the front desk told me the price went up to $20 per child as of the 1st of the year. I contacted another location where the manager insisted the price was $15/$5. However, after explaining the ordeal, he looked at the system and confirmed it was now $20 per child. He said he was unaware of the changes. I asked him if they could honor the price that was given to me, but they said it was not possible.

The cost per month of $40 for both my children was much higher than my black member status, which was $29.88 a month. I would pay more to bring my kids with me on a limited reservation policy, with limited hours, and it made no sense. I decided to proceed with the cancellation seeing that the cost of childcare outbids the cost of working out at the facility.

On a blog from your website, titled THE BENEFITS OF ATTENDING A GYM WITH CHILDCARE SERVICES, from July 15th 2021, I read the following:

“Young children are an absolute delight, of course, but they can also make it tricky for parents to prioritize their health and fitness. Squeezing in a workout can feel impossible at times. Fortunately, help is available. Many gyms offer childcare options for their members. While gyms with childcare may charge a small extra fee for the service, many parents find it well worth the cost.”

This is very true. Crunch Fitness has a $29.99 Peak Results membership that includes childcare for two kids, for two hours, while LA Fitness charges only an additional $10 per child per month. Your gym however, would now charge me an additional $40, putting me at $70 a month. It is not...

Signed up for a free session to scope out the gym, when I checked in at the desk I was forced into a tour of the gym and a questionnaire at a computer with the salesperson. I kept repeating that I just came to look and see if this gym was the right fit for me. Unfortunately, I have a hard time saying no, so after I was kept for so many hours I signed up for a membership. Then they said if you sign up today for a personal trainer, it’s 50% off or whatever the promo was at the time. I again declined, and was then made to sit with the personal training manager so I said ok, I’ll do the PT also. Personal trainer was nice enough, but had me do the same exercises every time even though I explained to her on my initial date of sign up that I was mainly interested in learning how to use the equipment so I could feel comfortable working out by myself. I cracked a joke after several sessions and mentioned that she makes me do the same 5 exercises every session and I wanted to learn the equipment. Her response was “when you can do these exercises without making mistakes then we can move on to something else”. I came here from a boot camp which I attended for many years and am familiar with how to do squats, but whatever. I stopped attending after this because it put me off, the whole experience this far had really upset me. I waited for the personal training contract to be over and called customer service to cancel 5/5/25. She told me what to do and had me fill out an email request via the website requesting cancellation of both personal training and gym membership. She told me to screenshot it (unfortunately I didn’t, as I didn’t expect EoS to fight tooth and nail to keep taking my money) and she told me to go in the same day to tell them in person as well, which I did. I got there and told the front desk about cancelling both PT and membership. She couldn’t find the request I had submitted earlier in the day (now it made sense why I was advised to screenshot the request). I told her I had just submitted it today so can she please just cancel everything, as I am moving out of the country. She talked to the PT manager and he approved it I guess? She came and told me everything would be cancelled. I said are you sure? She assured me yes. I got an email from Eos 5/6 advising I would have two final payments on 5/5 and 5/19 and I thought all was done. Today, 6/26/25, I saw a charge for the membership from Eos. Called customer service and was told they have no record of me canceling the membership, only the PT. I explained everything above and was told they would email the location to see about cancellation and refund. I am DISTURBED by how difficult they make a simple cancellation request. How many times must one ask to cancel a membership before they actually do it?! Do you want a letter sent by carrier pigeon? This should be illegal, and this company should be investigated for their shady business practices. I wasn’t even going to leave a review, but seeing another charge from them has set me off. 0 stars,...

I’ve been going to this gym since July of 2023 and I’ve had a pleasant yet mixed experience. I have the black membership and signed up for PT, which I really did enjoy until my trainer unfortunately left EOS. My new trainer Tom is pretty good, he gives an intense workout. The gym has a lot of machines but depending on the time you go, most aren’t available and need to be waited for. Anytime between 4-10, there’s a big young crowd, and between 6-8, there is absolutely no parking whatsoever so be mindful of when you go. As for my own experience, I liked going at or after midnight, but one time a couple months ago I had an AWFUL and somewhat traumatic experience. I went to the gym around 12 am and when I finished working out, I went to the locker room and showered, and as I went back to my locker, I couldn’t open my lock. I asked the guys in the locker room to get the staff on site and was left being told that I have to try to pry open the locker myself. Keep in mind I only had a towel on and all my belongings were in my locker, and at no point was the lock on my locker not opening the staff persons fault, but the way I was treated was not okay and immoral. I asked him if he had boltcutters or something and he said no, and didn’t want to help me because he had a job to do and blamed me for what had happeeend and left me there naked with a towel wrapped around me for the next 30 minutes. I am 19 and brand new to this area and alone and I felt awful. Fortunately another gymgoer there had something to bust the lock off the locker. If he hadn’t of been there, I would’ve been left in the locker room until the next day throughout the rest of the night. The 45 minutes of this whole situation was traumatic enough knowing the worker there wasn’t going to help me. I even had a friend with me who didn’t even know what To do since she’s a girl and I’m a guy, it was difficult. She told me when he went back to the front desk, he sat on his phone and did nothing. I even asked him if he could call a non emergency number and he said no. The guys in the locker room were kinder and more helpful than the worker. The next day I had training and told my PT about what happened and he told the managers at the time (I believe there’s been lots of restructuring at the time) but I don’t think they were working there anymore soon after, and nothing ever happened to the worker. I was never reached out to or anything and that really hindered my confidence to come back to this gym. I’d rate this place a 3/5 since SOME staff are friendly, and the gym is pretty good at time, but my locker room experience...
