I officiated a wedding right next to East Fork Overlook but due to the Smoky Mountains, the sky was so smoky, we couldn't see the mountains. We had the ceremony on the trail to get a great background but The photographer Ann Griffin Love2Roam photography decided to head down the mountain below the clouds to East Fork for improvisation which was perfect. We got tremendously great photos, I took some videos, and the couple absolutely loved it. If you decide that you're getting married at Black Balsam Knob and the weather seems to be ominous, this is a great option to head below the clouds and get great pictures of the mountains behind you!
