I drove 30 minutes on a hot day looking forward to relaxing at this outdoor pool, only to be turned away at the gate because it was "at capacity." While I understand safety limits, the way the situation was handled was incredibly frustrating.
As I explained to the young lady at the window that I had driven quite a distance, over 20 people were visibly exiting the facility—likely because the pool was closing soon. Yet I was still not allowed in. Instead, I was told the pool would reopen at 3:30 or I could try an indoor pool another 10 minutes away. Seriously? After already making a long drive, being told to drive more felt dismissive and inconsiderate.
I also mentioned that a thunderstorm was approaching, meaning there was a high chance the pool would be closed again shortly after reopening. I was told the pool closes every 45 minutes during storms and no refunds would be issued—even though I never got to enter the pool in the first place.
Every concern I raised was met with a cold, unhelpful response. No empathy, no solutions, just "that's the policy." This is poor customer service at its core.
At the very least, they should consider selling tickets online or updating capacity status in real-time, so people don’t waste their time, gas, and energy making the trip just to be turned away.
Disappointing experience from start to finish. I won’t...

I want to take the time to Thank Nicole and Simone for their amazing teamwork and effort today.
Unfortunately, today didn't go as well as planned in no way. I received a call at 11:30am about the kiddie pool being down and because of the weather, the park may have to cancel. I have 20 kids. I appreciated the call but I knew I would take my chances. When I arrived, I could tell the staff was hot and bothered. Customers weren't that happy so it showed with some staff. Nicole made it great. She apologized, made sure my party was ok and updated us as much as possible. Due to the weather, the children were only able to play in the water for 1 hour. We waited around for 2 hours. I knew that the kids couldn't get back in but was glad to see the staff inform us and they were empathic. I bought them pizza and for a moment, they were able to play in the water. That moment was just enough. They did reimbursed me and apologized again.
I'm grateful for that staff and them sticking to their rules. I think we want them to bend it for our sake but safety is key.
In addition, Nicole is phenomenal. With people upset and staff, she kept her composure and...
Read moreOur family loves pools, beaches, lakes, rivers and the ocean, and my wife and I are currently raising a little girl who has taken to the water like a baby duck. That said, we were eager to give this water park a try, and even going on an off-peak day later in the afternoon, I'm going to have to give the place a mixed review.
The Staff - The girls at the box office were nice, but WHY are there like 30 lifeguards who seem to be falling all over themselves to be saved from absolute boredom on this relatively small water park? The lifeguard to swimmer ratio was obscenely off balance, and it really wouldn't be a problem if not for all the overt unprofessional behavior we witnessed.
The pools and splash areas were tidy and clean, but the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting (I mean, so many lifeguards with nothing to do, some hygienic maintenance is like one of the main jobs of any pool staff).
We understand the idea of the 15 minute break every hour, but honestly, it felt like the lifeguards who weren't actually guarding were on an all day break.
Would I go there again? Definitely wouldn't be our...
