Read moreI went in to get paint. First the guy, I can't remember his name but he's older with all white hair, was talking to a customer, that's fine. But they weren't talking about anything that had to do with what he was buying. But I waited 10 minutes, he still wasn't done talking or even acknowledged my existence. I then went to the cashier who was nice, perfect customer service, I asked if she could call someone to come help me get paint. She did, and it was this same guy. I specifically asked for the cheapest paint gallon they had. The guy continued to talk through the ear piece to someone, which is fine, while he was getting the paint ready to mix. After it was done and I went to check out, the paint rang up $35.99, that didn't sound right to me since I asked for the cheapest they had. I told the cashier that this wasn't right I asked gir the cheapest. So she called the same guy over and asked ya know what happened, did he hear me and what not. He said that I asked for the "cheapest mid-grade paint." I am not a painter, i don't know what "mid-grade paint" is. I said, no sir I asked for the cheapest gallon you had, I wasn't worried if it had a primer in it, I didn't care if it was interior or exterior or ceiling paint. I just wanted the cheapest. So he took the paint and the paper that had the color on it back over to the paint section, came back a few minutes later, and with a really bad attitude said "it's the same price as our cheapest paint". He threw the paint card at the cashier's register and said give them $5.00 off. He walked away. I just told the cashier that I couldn't afford the paint and bought the rest of my items. The cashier kept apologizing to me about the way that man acted towards me. I also told her that he was talking to someone else when I asked for help with the paint. She began to tell me that he does that all the time, he's always "snobby", and she apologize once again. This is the first problem I have had, and my dad has been coming here for a few years now to get things that he needs and he's never had a problem. The other employees that I've interacted with have always been so nice and helpful. So this was something I really...
Read moreThese people are so friendly & helpful I love going there. It feels like the small town where I grew up. I frequently go just for plants & gardening supplies. I bought a beautiful passion flower plant that attracts the state butterfly after seeing the butterflies in their little butterfly house. But my last trip was to replace 2 screws I had lost from a bedroom door knob when I took it off to paint the door & clean the brass knobs. They sold me just the two I needed for 24 cents and some sealer to replace what my cat damaged around my door. They just sent me a $5 coupon for my birthday. They also have unusual funny cards. Great place, great people who like to...
